-Some Character History: Ken Jansen is a second-generation wrestler from a famous Canadian wrestling family; however, from the start he has bucked tradition and done his own thing -- even to the point of being banished from his high school wrestling club for attacking an opponent with a folding chair. After working a few years in his family's promotion in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, he and his better half Valentine set out to forge their own legacy in the larger world. Jansen made his professional debut in the OCW promotion, where he rose through the ranks to capture the PC Title and World Tag Team Titles. In a twist of fate, he ended up taking over the leadership of that federation, but eventually decided to return to the ring. Jansen re-debuted in the CEWF, and his return was more than triumphant: he became the company's first World Heavyweight Champion, and would win the top gold once more before departing. In that time, Jansen and Valentine quickly earned a reputation as obnoxious troublemakers, egotists, big talkers... but, ultimately, a combination of glamor and ability that forced their foes to "believe the hype".

-Gimmick/ Character's General Description: Ken Jansen is the classic cocky technical heel -- proficient in mat wrestling and a notorious cheater as well. He believes he is the ultimate wrestler and believes everybody else should think so, too -- and Jansen does have the skills to back it up. He is a master of mind games and does whatever it takes to get under the skin of his opponents. Jansen tends to be insensitive toward others, often deliberately so. However, he also has a short temper, and although he loves to rile up crowds and insult his opponents, he also demands glowing accolades. When he doesn't get them, he is prone to fits of anger. Though mostly self-absorbed, there are two other things he cares about: his manager, Valentine, and championship gold (not necessarily in that order).
