Gimmick/ Character History- "Invincible"
Vince lives up to his name: much to the delight of his fans, it more often
than not seems that he cannot be hurt, as he is arguably one of the most
resillient men to have ever set foot in the squared circle. Though he has
yet to lose a match by submission, he was embarassed by Barry D'Live in
a match in early 2001, when Parker was made to say that he submitted --
But the match was one of D'Live's specialties, a casket match, so Parker
has still not yet lost a match by submission. Still, D'Live seems to have
shown that "Invincible" Vince may not be so invincible afterall...
Expect a rivalry to develop between these two in the future. However, despite
all the mystique surrounding Parker's apparent, near-superhuman, almost
comic book-like tolerence toward pain, Vince Parker isn't the world's greatest
grappler, which puts him on the losing end of more matches than he'd like.
