Subject:  Issue 4 ~ Apr 3, 2001

Hello friends,

It's been about 2 weeks since the last issue.  Not much to report, except
that I've been battling computer viruses lately.  Mary Ann did have snow
again today, and we had hail in Kelso yesterday.  We except to get the
regular newsletter out "early" this time, but that will depend heavily on
how much can be accomplished around the virus situation.

For those of you interested, Mystery Mountain has received a big shipment
of the new 2001s and will begin shipping out those you already have paid
for which have been on order.

I do have some website news as well.  The Equinealities articles have been
moved into a restructured file system.  I was not planning to push this
onto the Internet quite so fast, but the zip disk that contained all my
updates from the past 4 months was threatening to give up on me last
weekend.  I had 4 months of updates in just the Equinealities section
alone and there are still many more to do.  You can still access more than
90% of the articles (the rest are being recovered as this issue is being
typed).

I hope to have the site on full recovery within the next two weeks.  The
computer with which I have access to transfer files to the website will be
fixed (keep your fingers crossed ;-) or send up a little prayer) this
coming weekend, and if all goes well, I can restore our lost files to the
site then.  Otherwise, it may take longer.

If you wish to survey the "new" location, I will have to warn you that
some graphics and pages will not show up until the recovery is complete.
You can still access the articles from links at the original location -
http://members.tdn.com/nwbhc/breeds - but the new folder location is
http://members.tdn.com/nwbhc/breeds/equines .

Remember that you can invite your friends to join our E-News.  They can
either e-mail me or visit the site.  Or you may forward them any of our
messages which you think they may find of interest.  As of this writing we
have 8 members to our E-list.

Next week, I will plan to have our website statistics available for you.
Our visitors come from all over, and you may find it very interesting to
find out where some of them are from.

Until then, take care and stay healthy,
Eileen
