| Issue 15 ~ November 24, 2001 Greetings Friends! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and didn't get too stuffed on all the great food this year... plenty full, but not stuffed. I don't think anyone enjoys not being able to move around after you've eaten way tooo much at a meal. Anyway, I'm thankful that there was plenty and definitely some "plan-overs," as one of my neighbor friends calls them, for snacking on later. + Website news + Lost and Found +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Lost and Found Anyone who attended the Peter Stone Show at Bob's last month might be interested to know that there was a plastic container left with some model horses in it. Please contact Mary Ann at mailto:[email protected] , Melissa at mailto:melal@columbiacenter-org or Eileen at [email protected] with a complete description of the box and its contents. We will see to it that it comes back to you. Also, there was a jacket left from the Bob's Spring Breyer Show back in May. Same thing... contact one of these three ladies and they will make sure you get it as soon as possible. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Website News I have some great news about the website this time. I'm getting caught up on all the details that I lost when the zip drive crashed last March. It has been a slow road to recover lost graphics and updated files, but I think I've managed to get a pretty good handle on the situation. The biggest disaster was in the Equinealities department, which still has several bugs I need to work out. The regional listing is not functional at this time, though some of the links will work. Most of them will give you a notice from the server that says the page is no longer available. Actually, the page never has been available. When the zip drize was about to crash, I did a stop-gap measure by jamming all the updates to the website as quickly as possible before I could not longer use it. Several files made it, but others did not. And in the process, several graphics got lost. I think I've recovered most of the graphics now. That means I can resume work on the regional indices. It's almost time to be updating most of the pages in this department anyway, so I'll have a lot going here over the next few weeks. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Time is short, and I need to get moving. Have a great rest of your holiday weekend. Eileen |
