Greetings!

Yes I know it's been a long time.  I've been busy with so many other things lately, it's like I haven't had time to stop and catch my breath.  A lot has happened in the past couple months.  I'll try to catch you up.

Bob's Peter Stone Show

It was loads of fun and Peter Stone brought some really nice specials to share.  I got some good photos this time, so will scan them and put them on the website.  I'll let you know when this happens so you won't miss out.

Look for a big Peter Stone show in October 2002 as this show is scheduled to migrate to the Columbia County Fairgrounds - one week earlier on the second weekend in October!  Let's hope it all happens so we can spread out in the big green pavillion and share all our horses!

Horsepower at the Cowlitz County Historical Museum, Kelso, WA

Jan M. has a display of some of her horses and mules hitched to wagons typical of the styles used in the Cowlitz County area during pioneer days.  This display is scheduled to run from November 17th, 2001 through March 31, 2002.  If you can make it to the area or are passing through, be sure to stop by and check out the really nice display.  The museum is located at 405 Allen Street about half a mile from I-5, Exit 39.

An Introduction to American Harness

If you've seen me at any of the horse shows, you've probably seen my prototype.  This book is finally in print!  The first edition is available online at my site - http://members.tdn.com/nwbhc/refiner - or you may purchase it from me at any horse show.  The book is also available at the Cowlitz County Historical Museum.
