| LATE FEE: When childcare extends beyond the stated hours, there a late fee is charged. The fee for arrival times 5:31 through 5:45 is $15.00. The fee for arrival times 5:46 through 6:00 is $30.00. The late fee applies even if prior arrangements have been made by a parent to pick the child up late. This fee is to be paid when the child is picked up. MEALS: All of the meals are provided. DROP OFF & PICK UP: Parents should limit the amount of time required to drop off and pick up their child. The providers supervision or activities for other children may be sacrificed if the parents visit extends beyond a reasonable time. Children will not be released to anyone other than those persons previously authorized by the parents. Driver license identification is required. Always turn off the ignition while your vehicle is unattended and do not leave unattended children in the automobile. MEDICAL: Parents must sign an authorization form before any medication will be given, including over-the-counter medication. The provider cannot care for children with fever. Fever must be naturally absent for 24 hours without the benefit of medication before a child returns to the daycare. In the event of medical emergency the provider will call for EMS services and then contact the parents. The provider will contact the parents first for less critical issues. If the parents are unavailable the childs doctor will be notified. HOLIDAYS: There are no paid provider holiday other than those listed on the Leander ISD calendar. WITHDRAWAL: A minimum of one months notice is requested when withdrawing a child from daycare. TDPRS: Upon request, parents may review a copy of the Texas Minimum Standard Rules for Registered and Licensed Child-Care Homes and the most recent licensing inspection report received by this home. The local office for the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services may be reached at (512)388-6200 and the TDPRS website address is www.tdprs.state.tx.us. The telephone number for the Texas Child Abuse Hotline is (800)252-5400. MISCELLANY: Parents must not allow children to bring any form of food or drink into the home to prevent unnecessary accidents. This especially includes bottles and sipping cups. There are two small dogs that reside on the premises. Daycare will be closed during periods of inclement weather as determined by closure of the Leander ISD schools. Parents may visit the daycare home at any time during business hours to observe the daycare home program and activities. A code lock on the front door allows easy access while maintaining security. |
