The First Annual NWA Lou Thesz Memorial Tournament

The NWA is proud to announce the first annual Lou Thesz Memorial Tournament, which will take place over two days, April 2nd and 3rd in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.

The tournament will be a single elimination, 32 man field. Each promotion is REQUIRED to select four men to send to this tournament, with a maximum of six selections from each current member promotion. The remaining selections will be chosen by the NWA Executive Committee. All member promotions must have their selections submitted to the Vice President no later than March 6, 2004.

NOTE: If a promotion does not submit a list of wrestlers participating in the tournament, the Executive Committee WILL select four wrestlers to represent that promotion.

The winner of the Thesz Tournament will receive a NWA World Heavyweight title shot at the June supercard that will be known as Summer Sizzler Spectacular on June 20, 2004!
