Begining next week Wabscity will launch a site for Colleges and Unversities news, gossips and jokes from all works of life. The site shall also carry out important comentaries on issues in the news and the society in general. To contribute simply send a mail to webmaster. Ever got a problem with your Car, computer and wondered what you could do to remedy or solve the problem? This week wabscity encountered a number of troubling auto users desperately thinking about what they could do get around their car problems. The first cried fowl play from an auto dealer. In her story she paid for 1996 VW Golf branded to be a 1999 by the auto dealer. Discovering that her car was actually 1996 VW, she contacted the auto dealer who claimed it was OK. The issue here is must someone pay for 1996 car that has gone zero miles or kilometres because it was sold in 1999? Another issue that arises here is that underwhat condition was the car kept from 1996 to 1999 to deserve its treatment as a 1999 car. What about upgrades or other devices that might have been added to a 1999 VW Golf? The issue here is that consumers of auto products are always at the mercy of those selling them whatever. This case is one that culminates to real, deplorable, massive fraud and requires something that is more than a court compensation. In another case in Virginia, a lady bought a brand new Volvo 2000 from another auto dealer and two days later she discovered her car doesn't accept gas. What possibly could have been cause? The car is new! She drove it back to auto dealer shop. Two days later she received a note with technical detail about the malfuntion. After fixing the clitch at no cost, the auto dealer required her to sign an undertaking that should the clitch repeats, she has to pay for repairs work. Familiar with distributors? In Colorado a young man fell victim to falty car distributors. Having problems with his old Ford car, he managed to push it over to his mechanic who lives and works just across the street. It was discovered the distributor was broke. A new one was bought and the bad one replaced. A week later, the new distributor was broke. It was replaced by another new distributor bought from Distributors' distributor. This one too got broke after four hours drive off the city of Colorado. What a messy situation! To aviod such encounters rather go for a brand new classic distributor than rely on those made for Distributors' distributor. It seem they pay no attention when building this car device or simply are out to make the best they can from maximising sales at the detriment of consumers. Don't be halted on the highway by a distributor. To be on the serve side though, most of us are not technically prone or experienced in handling important details during a car purchase, ensure to cross check every part, ask your auto dealer to offer you sometime to verify details. Test before making final payment, signing and retaining full ownership of the car. |
