has these tips that will protect you, your friends and your family
- Tell your parents where you will be playing.
- Always play with someone you know.
- Never take shortcuts or play in lonely places.
- Say no to anyone who tries to give you drugs, cigarettes or alcohol.
- Say no and get away if a stranger asks you to go somewhere or to take a ride.
- Say no if a stranger invites you into a house.
- Say no if a stranger wants to give you candy.
- If somebody bothers you, tell an adult that you trust.
- Tell an adult if someone touches you where it makes you feel uncomfortable.
- Don�t give information over the phone to somebody you don't know.
- Keep doors and windows locked.
- Never open the door to a stranger or somebody you don�t trust.
- Always buckle your seatbelt.
- Do not hitchhike.
- Never play with matches.
- Never steal, damage or destroy property.
- Go into a store and ask for help if you are lost.
- Never try to drive a car before you go to driving school.
- Be alert! Call the police if something looks wrong or suspicious.
