| >>April 24, 2003 Well, its after midnight, so technically its tomorrow already. I went out earlier yesterday and did a bit of street riding, some gaps, and manuals. I did some footplants on a big metal bank a little ways away from here. Only a couple more days until I head home to northern BC... then the updates will be all local again. Thanks to all the locals I met up with for making Edmonton a decent place to ride. >>April 11, 2003 Went to the Sherwood park skatepark today for a little while. It was pretty crowded so I didn't feel like making a fool of myself with my feeble skills. I saw a ton of Edmonton rider there, guys from Affiliated Crew, Mortal Clothing, and one of the Guys from Tired and Homeless e-zine. Good times. I had a blast watching them all and their different skills. Marty Kennie was ripping it up with airs and manual lines. I didn't know any other names but they were all going off... >>April 5, 2003 Here's a copy of the article I wrote that Chase BMX printed... >click to see< (once you click the link, remove the Http://) >>April 5, 2003 Well, the snow here in Edmonton is dissapearing finally and I got out to ride the other day. Boy is it a pain in the neck to re-learn stuff again... Pulled my pegs off for a little change. We'll see how that goes. The bike is down to about 29lbs now, not that I'm a weight freak or anything. I'm headed back home in a few weeks and I can't wait to check out what's new in our scene. Ride on. I got an email today about a site showcasing the Kitimat BC scene, check it out: www.k-townbmx.cjb.net >>March 11, 2003 Just got the news today that an article and pictures I submitted have been printed in the new Chase BMX mag! Pretty stoked about that! >>March 9, 2003 The Smithers BMX scene page has been updated also... >>March 3, 2003 Well, a bit of a new look and design. Just the main page for now, but hopefully more pages soon. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. |
