TEDDY BEARS
While doing this assignment I learned alot about the "TEDDY BEAR" and how it came into existence. I had heard about Steiff bears before, but was unaware that they were the first teddies. The first bears were infact invented by a disabled girl in Europe.
The information presented in this webpage has been gathered from various different websites. Although there was lots of information available on the internet, the history I researched all led back to the bear originating from the Steiff bears. Many people are led to believe that it was a U.S President who came up with the teddy bear, therefore I hope readers gain more insite from this website on the true origins of the teddy.
Ever since i have been young, I have been fond of teddy bears. The reason I chose to do this website on teddies was, because I couldnt think of anything better.
I probably have around 60 teddies that I have collected over the years. The first bears I had were when I was a baby. One was a koala bear and the other was a black and white panda.
I have many different kinds of teddy bears, but now i definately want to add Steiff bears to my collection. Out of all the teddies that I have right now, I can't really say I have any favorites because they are all unique. I am running out of things to say right about now. So I will just end it here and figure out what to write later on.
