The National Teacher Training Institute (NTTI)
The National Teacher Training Institute for Math, Science, & Technology provides
teachers with hands-on, interactive methods for using television and technology, including instructional video, on-line networks and other new technologies in math and science instruction. Hosted by public television stations across the country, the Institute's national training has grown from 10 sites in 1991 to 26 during the 1995-96 school year.

KLVX, Channel 10 Las Vegas
Southern Nevada's public television station, KLVX provides instructional programs to students in four states, and an additional eight closed circuit channels provide additional programs in the Las Vegas Valley. Science programming is provided to classrooms, and along with KNPB Channel 5 in Las Vegas and the Nevada Department of Education, supports the National Teacher Training Institute (NTTI). NTTI trains science and math teachers in appropriate and innovative strategies for using instructional video and online technologies in the classroom.
