FAQ - PAIDFORSURF

Q: What is the maximum number of hours we will get paid when using the SurfBar?

A: Currently we will pay for an UNLIMITED number of hours.  We have some filters in place to track for anyone that will try to cheat the program.  Anyone caught cheating will be terminated and forfeit any money "earned" through our program.

Q: Is this program world wide?

A: PaidForSurf.com is currently available worldwide, yet funds will only be issued in US Dollars from a US bank at this time.  The member's minimum payout is $20.INTERNATIONALS $40.

Q: When do I get paid and what is the minimum amount?

A: Currently, checks will be processed 60 days after the end of the calendar month as long as the member's account balance is equal to or greater than $20, $50, or $100 (depending on the members choice at time of signup).

Q: When will the SurfBar be available for other platforms such as Macintosh?

A: We plan on rolling out additional versions of the SurfBar that will work on other computer platforms in the near future.

Q: What is the actual pay out for PaidForSurf.com?

A: As of February 1, 2000 we are introducing SurfCash.

We take 50% of every dollar that we earn, and put that into SurfCash.  SurfCash money is used to payout for referrals and for hourly usage of the SurfBar.  The more we make, the more you make!

Just keep your eye on the SurfBar...that's how we earn our money.  The closer you keep your eye on the bar, the more we all make.

What we mean by every dollar is all of the money earned on our SurfBar, our website, our Free email, our Community BBS with Chat, our Shopping Center, and anything else we do to make money .  So spend more time using more of the services that we offer and the SurfCash will grow and you will earn more and more money.

We have a goal to payout over $1.00/hour by September 2000.

Q: How much time should I spend at an advertisers site?

A: There is no set amount of time that you need to spend at their site, but if you click on their banner please support our advertiser by spending some time going through their site.

Q: What is AVR and how do you maintain it?

A: AVR stands for Advertiser Visit Ratio.  Every time you make a quality visit to an advertisers site, from our SurfBar, you are credited with a visit.  To maintain your AVR minimum, you simply need to spend time at our advertisers sites...on average that works out to one visit every fifty minutes.

Q: Using this Advertiser Visit Ratio, doesn't it make it easy to cheat?

A: Nope, for those of you that are thinking about cheating, don't.  Our stats will check to see if you are just clicking on the banners to inflate your stats and it will initially disregard the clicks.  If you continue to do this your account will be terminated and you will forfeit any and all monies in your account.

Q: Ok, everything looks good...what are the rules?

A: There are some very basic rules with our program:

  1. NO SPAMMING:  If you are caught spamming (Unsolicited Bulk Email), your account will be terminated, you will not be paid any money, your referrals will be taken away from both you and your up line.  We hold the right for legal action against you.  So, in the simplest terms about spamming...don't do it!

  2. YOU NEED TO USE THE SURFBAR:  In order to get paid for all of the hours from your referrals, you must match or exceed the number of hours that they surf.

For example: You refer John and Dan.  John does 50 hours, Dan does 25 hours and you do 30 hours in a given month.  Here is how you would be paid out:

You would be paid 30 hours for your surfing,
You would be paid 30 hours for John's surfing, and
You would be paid 25 hours for Dan's surfing.

In order to get paid for John's 50 hours, you would need to use the SurfBar  for 50 hours as well.  So, whenever you are using your computer and online, make sure that the SurfBar is running.

Q:  Can I install the SurfBar on more than one computer?

A:  Sure, as long as you only use it on one computer at a time.  So you are welcomed to install it at home and the office.  If both you and your wife have a computer at home and you would like to both use the SurfBar, then both of you should have your own account.

Q: Does PaidForSurf.com offer any other benefits?

A: Yes we do!  First we offer a FREE Email account with 6MB of storage.  You can click on Free Email at the top of any page on our site.  We offer a search engine, that pulls from several top search engines to give you top notch results.  We have many more benefits planned over the next few months.  Keep an eye on your email and we will keep you up to date with new benefits.

Q:  Here we go again, I have to give you my email address and you are going to sell it to companies and I am going to get a lot of junk mail...right?

A:  Not here, we do collect your email address and we will not sell or give it out to any other company.  We do keep it on file in order to keep you up to date with any changes in our program.  From time to time we make offer you some exclusive offers, but even that you can stop.  When you sign up we ask you to either agree or disagree to the following statement:

Yes! Please include me in the mailing list to receive great deals exclusively for Paidforsurf.com Members!

If you disagree, then you will not receive any offers from us at all.  The only emails you will receive will be updates to our program.
