The Story

    It started off when 10 year-old Ash decided to become the world's best Pokemon trainer. He went to Professor Oak to adopt a Pokemon, but he overslept and got there late. Other Pokemons were all taken, except one which was very unfriendly - Pikachu. Ash got no choice but to take it and Pikachu gave him many 'welcoming' electric shocks. Pikachu refuse to go inside the Poke-ball and would not listen to Ash's commands. But after the Spearow trial, Pikachu realised that Ash cared much for him  and so became good friends with Ash.

    On the long and tedious journey of collecting Pokemon badges, Ash met Misty and Brock by chance. They became good friendsand travel together eversince. Their worst enemies of all times were the Team Rocket - James and Jessie (& meowth) as mention before, who are constantly trying to capture Pikachu.

    Occasionally Ash had to face challenges from Gary (Professor Oak's grandson) and other Pokemon trainers. Ash and his friends always manage to find their way through the tough times, so let's cheer them on!

There are more than 50 episodes altogether in the Pokemon series and there's a few Pokemon movies too. It will take too long for me to type out all the details so it's best to watch the VCDs or the TV show. For more information, check out the official Pokemon site for the previews of the episodes.
