read the minutes he recorded at the summer meeting held 16 July O5 at the
Richard Fahey residence and plantings (the Catholic Homesteading Movement)
Colleen Green, treasurer, read the treasurer’s report. Acceptance was moved by Jerry Henkin, seconded by Don Cobb, accepted unanimously.
Colleen Green agreed to publish the constitution and by-laws, revising to comply with IRS requirements, and our desire to make the NYNGA news-letter editor automatically a board member.
Jerry Henkin discussed the need for spring, summer, and fall locations for NYNGA Meetings.
John Wertis discussed The NYNGA Hardy English Walnut Program continuing with the distribution of seedlings now in cold storage at Cornell’s greenhouse by Prof. Ken Mudge. These have to be moved to David Schlabach’s Nursery for sending out. NYNGA should ask $5/ea., $20 for 5, $35 for 10 with David Schlabach adding on postage and handling.
Colleen Green announces this is her last term as treasurer due to family commitments.
