What is nutritional therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is concerned with healing the body down at cell level using
a change in food and drinks consumed to allow re-hydration. This will see a
change in weight, energy and bring the body's nutrient levels back into balance
without the use of too many supplements.
Are you registered with an organisation?
Yes, I belong to the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (B.A.N.T.) who will be happy to verify I am a
member.
Are the supplements mentioned expensive?
No, I was taught how to administer a more natural regime and thus I use as
few supplements as possible.
Does nutritional therapy only deal with digestive complaints?
No but this would be the first line of healing. Once you start to heal the gut
you take the stress away from the organs internally and from the skin
externally.
What happens if I find it difficult to give up some foods or drinks?
Then we go at your own pace a little at a time as even beginning to drink
filtered water to re-hydrate can bring about change.
What diseases would you consider treating?
Diseases are labels and nutritional therapy treats the whole body that is
mental, emotional and physical. All chronic complaints have come about from
acute symptoms that have not been healed and once you bring the body back into
balance you see a profound change.
Do you see a lot of people with allergies or sensitivities to food or
chemicals?
Yes, this is the most common complaint and once identified by the VEGA
machine which is non invasive the items can be removed from everyday life and
the symptoms they have caused can start to be relieved.
What is a healing crisis?
This is brought about by a release of toxins from the body too rapidly. The
crisis can range from a cold, flu symptoms, diarrhoea. I rarely allow this to
happen as I work gently to allow the body to re-adjust naturally. We all lead
busy lives and to be unwell for any length of time with a healing crisis seems
unnecessary.
Would anyone else know of the consultation?
No, it will be kept strictly private and confidential according to a code of
ethics.
