The Masters call us 'slave meat', and such, and
perhaps this amuses them, and helps keep us in our place, at their feet, but only a woman
who is a fool believes them. They want, and own, the whole slave"
Dancer of Gor, 154
It is wise for a slave to remember that even though the FreePeople may refer to us in
words that to most would sound demeaning or even cruel. That it is usually only to remind
us that we are "slaves" and our place is at their feet. But within our minds,
just as it is shown above, we know when we are "owned", they own the whole
us....mind..body..and soul. That point is showed by the quote below.
The Gorean master desires more than a slave's submission, more than merely her body. A
Gorean man is satisfied with nothing less than all of a slave. He will possess you, body
and mind, heart and soul. Nothing less is acceptable.
Savages of Gor, page 174
Many Gorean men, in their vanity, will not admit to caring for slaves. Even the
thought of it, it seems, would embarrass them. Who could care for a meaningless slut in a
collar? Yet too often, for just such women, luscious and helpless, and in bondage, men are
prepared to kill. Indeed, more than one war on Gor has been fought to recover a single
slave.
Dancer of Gor, page 421
If a slave were simply a "meaningless slut", then why would a Master waste time,
energy, money and possibly even lives to recover a single slave? Why would they kill
another over a slave? The answer would seem to be that perhaps even though some wish to
refer to slave's as "sluts" adding such words as "worthless"
"meaningless" or such it is often simply again to remind us that we are slaves
and where our place is.
