December 2006

James is 7 years old now... amazing hard to believe it aye!
He thinks its pretty cool to have a younger brother and with them sharing a room, they are pretty good mates usually... we hear the occasional yell and scream from one or the other but not too often which is good.
James has lost 8 teeth this year, and 4 are still not thru so he is one "gappy kid" Its like the song "All i want for christmas is my 2 front teeth"

James is still skating and wants to compete in reginals, areas and nationals next year so he is practising hard for that... He has now done his badge 5 so he wil move up into the senior classes ... which is with kids at least 3 years older than him
James still loves the Simpsons and its got to be his most favourite tv show of all time.

One of James' favourite chores round the house is when he is working with Steve in the garden, but especially when he is chopping wood...
James had his triathlon at Colwill School recently, the kids seperated the events into a group of 3, James did the swim.

Here he is watiting to start the event sitting under the shade with his class mates and then in the actual event, walk/running across the pool.

He doesnt know how to swim and freaks himself out when he goes under the water, so will have to remedy this next year and get him and Alex into swimming lessons... have meant too, but just havent gotten round to it.
Last day of skating for the year for James, and to his delight, Mum and Alex are skating too... well Mum is trying and Alex is getting a free ride!!
It was good fun for everyone!
Colwill Schools "BIG DAY OUT" the whole school goes to Long Bay and the kids travel by bus, swim, build sandcastles and generally have a great time playing outdoors...
Was awesome weather which was great, plenty of slip, slop, slapping for everyone tho.
Nana Pat and Kylie went along too...
The seniors were doing face painting... James is a clown!
Steve had a job shooting the Pasifika Games at the Trusts Stadium... Kylie and the boys went along to hand out flyers and enjoy the day...
We had to of been the palest pacific people there.
It was a great day, and the weather was awesome too!

James got some awesome face painting done.
Here we are enjoying the music programme while we have a picnic
Early Christmas

Went to visit Grandma Joy and Wayne and exchanged early xmas pressies... checked out Grandmas new house.
James and Alex enjoy some chocolate brownie that Mum made... as you can see Alex likes to copy everything that James does...
James shows just how "handsome" he can be!!!
March 2007
James has started playing basketball for the school. He had his first game and here he is in action.
He really enjoyed himself and tried really hard even though he has no idea what he is meant to do, his team scored 0, this game. He liked it so thats the main thing!
