CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2006! C.L.A JUST WON'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU! Of the 50 students graduating this year, 10 of them have gone to school at Christian Liberty Academy since kindergarten. Joe Kramer (Palatine) and Eva Rubel (Palatine) started in Junior Kindergarten in 1992 and were joined in Senior Kindergarten by 2 sets of twins: Kristen and Kara Spacapan (Arlington Hts.) and Carly and Claire Comerouski (Itasca), along with Chris Domrzalski (Mt. Prospect), Laura Dziagwa (Prospect Hts.), Ryan Koltonuk (Lake in the Hills), and Cassie Saavedra (Elgin). Another 23 students started school at CLA in their grammar school years. As a result, two thirds of these graduates have been friends most all of their school years. Those who came to school here for high school have joined in to form a very close-knit group of friends. When asked about favorite CLA memories, Ryan Koltonuk (Lake in the Hills) stated, Basketball practices, long tournaments and all the guys on the team, Student Chapel, and playing tag in kindergarten with all the people I am graduating with Ill miss them all so much. And from Josh Flores (Chicago) who started here in 1997 stated Growing together as a class in Christ, making new friends, but most importantly growing closer to God in the process. Kara Spacapan states memories are obviously moments in your life that you remember because of the people that you shared them with. It has been a blessing to accumulate friendships over the years at CLA and I can only hope we will be able to hold on to them after we move on from here. |
