Great web page! I really need help. I have worked at the same hospital in East Texas for 7 years. It is a small hospital. We have been on raise freeze for a while. I am an R.N. making 12.10 an hour. I have Pals,tncc and acls. I work in the E.R. on ight shift so I do get shift differential. The problem is that we had a mother hospital to take over about 4 years ago from the county. The new hospital made promises for retirement and increase in wages and new equiptment. We have recently been told t at we would not be getting retirement, and that they do not know when the raise freeze would be lifted. I could go get another job without problem, but I have been there longer than the Don and the administrator. I love my co-workers and the doctors and the patients. I love my Job. Many of my friends have left or are thinking of leaving. If you know how to get collective bargaining or what to do please let me know. The mother hospital and sister hospitals are getting retirement and annual raise incre ses. If you have any suggestions, I am very interested. Thanks
