The History of Theater club
Theater club of Sampoerna Academy has been building since 3 years ago, when the school built up. The first leader of theater club is our old senior from manta ray house, she is kak Gea Aslamiyah from Muara Enim, with her team this theater club can be the 2nd winner of theater competition in SMAN 6 Palembang. Firstly this theater club has no couch to guide the practicing every Friday afternoon. They learned by themselves with their act skills. Theater club always be the main performance in every big event in the school, such as breakfasting together, open house, L2L Day, and others school event. As the exits club in the school, theater club not only teach every member to be expert in acting, but also in painting for properties, make up team, costume team, and script writer. Theater club being more exist day bay day and continue for the second generation, theater club handle by kak Ray Jossie from social class who ever being the best actor in FLS2N when he was in Junior high school. Under his commander and help by kak Dea, Sella, Easty, Hendro, and kak chudali the club can reach FLS2N in the last year till National level. And the first school musical production by theater. This is such wonderful performance by the school and theater being the icon of the school. Panji Maulana was the assistant of kak Ray Jossie then become the next theater club leader. But now he is standing for the student council and the club leader handle by kak Putri from Muara Enim. Theater students usually express their emotional through the theater practicing, where they can scream as loud as possible. Now theater club also sent their representative and most of the representatives are accepted by DIKNAS to perform for the government. They are Abi mayu, Milana, Flatiya, and Aprizal Saputra.
On the other hand, theater students are also available when they asked to have storytelling because they have already the basic from theater club. Then let’s join it!!!!!! ATHENA (Anak Theater Sampoerna)
