Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot. --Neil Gaiman, "The Sandman" -- 4-26-03; Andrew Wow. I haven't posted on here for the longest time, have I? You've all probably stopped even looking here for something new and exciting. Oh well, I'll have to rope you all back in...or maybe I'll just get a live journal or something. Anyway, found something--well it's probably more accurate to say I was asked something, but whatever. Here goes. :*) What is your favorite... Genre of Music? - It's hard to say really. I like a rather wide variety of music. I also don't bother to find out what the names of each genre really are. So, to make myself seem smarter, I'll just say "almost everything" ;) Band/Group? - It's hard to pick a particular favorite, I'll list my favorites now, though: Radiohead, Metallica, Incubus, Evanescence, Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, Queen, U2, and Verve Pipe. I think that's about it. Male artist? - Moby, at least if I understand that question right ;) Female artist? - Tori Amos and Norah Jones, I think that about says it all :*) Song of the moment? - As in...what's playing right now? I have Wish You Were Here by Radiohead going at the moment. Other current (but not playing) favorites are Low Man's Lyric by Metallica; Superstar by Saliva; Bittersweet Symphony, Colorful, and The Freshman by Verve Pipe; Closing Time and Time of Your Life by Green Day; and I could keep going with several songs by Evanescence, and beyond. Song of all time? - Adagio for Strings; Samuel Barber. There are probably some others, but that one takes the cake. Genre of film? - I'm a sucker for a good Drama as well as any sci-fi/fantasy movies. Running Sequels? - The newest Lord of the Rings series is excellent, hopefully the Matrix series will be as good :*) Actor? - Samuel L. Jackson, Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Vince D'Onofrio, Edward Norton, and Morgan Freeman. Actress? - Jennifer Connelly, Angelina Jolie, that's about it, I can't remember the names of the others ;) Movie of the moment? - Unbreakable, The Matrix. Movie of all time? - Requiem for a Dream, Shawshank Redemption Poet? - It's hard to say really, however I'd have to say T. S. Elliot. Novelist? - I'd rather this were "favorite author." I probably have a couple to fit in: Neil Gaiman, first and foremost; and Douglas Adams. Talk Show Host? - A what? Reality Show? - I'd rather disembowel myself :*) Colour? - Indigo, I guess Smell? - I don't think that I have a very good sense of smell, but there's a certain smell, that to me is rather subtle and intoxicating. I could probably go on to describe it in almost poetic detail, but I'll save myself the embarassment. Mostly I smell it from women's hair, or maybe it's a light perfume from a flower or something like that. Food? - Buttermilk Pancakes :*) Sexual Position? - I wouldn't know =P I guess that'll do it for today. Nothing philosophical or meaningful. Oh, I'm getting a new computer. So maybe when that gets here I'll arrange some kind of life journal or something. Ciao, --Me. |
