1.1 New features in program.

Memory RAM at least 192MB. 280 free hard disk space. 16 bit color resolution, 1024x756 pixels. For MAC CPU G3, G4, G5. OS MAC OS X. Memory RAM 192mb at least hard disk free space 320MB. 16bit color 1024x756pixels.
1.2 Introduce to the basics and the windows.
-Welcome screen, introduction (tutorials, learn the basics, advanced techniques, tips and tricks, color management, set up, what's new. Title bar (name and program.) Menu bar (file, edit, etc.) Tools box, palettes, each have different function ( navigator, info, histogram, color palette, swatches, styles.) You can move it around, click and drag for easy to use. Close it to get it back for the start, click window workspace, reset palette. 1.3 Tools in Photoshop CS.
-Use Rectangle marquee tool, use to select the area you want.
-Move tools, use to move things around. Lasso tools, cut the work in to piece to work on/editing.
-Magic wand tools, use to highlight the area with the same tone and work on it. Crop tool is use to crop. Type tool is use for typing text.
-Custom shape tool use to create custom shape.
-Gradient tool is use to create gradient. Airbrush tool use to create airbrush.
-Paintbrush tool use to paint. Paint bucket tool to use the whole color as background. Pencil tool is use to draw. Eraser tool use to erase. Impressionist brush tool is to create an impressionist look. Blur tool to make it blur. Sharpen tool, sponge tool, smudge tool, red eye brush tool, dodge tool, clone stamp tool, eyedropper tool, hand tool.
1.4 How to Import the pictures/images.
-You can get pictures from File, Scan, or Digital camera. Open, choose picture files.
1.5 How to Scan the pictures/images.
-Go to File, import, choose your scanner. Set the properties. The more pixel, the bigger the file.
1.6 How to print the pictures/images.
-To print your pictures, go to file choose print click ok set properties layout paper/quality how many copies. Print preview.
1.7 Using File Browser.
-You can browse the file by go to file browser. You will see the menu and the tools bar folders preview
2. Basics to using Photoshop.
2.1 Basics command in Photoshop.
-Go to Image, click on rotate canvas, flip canvas horizontal. Use history brush tool, to click adjustment image adjustment inverse the color will change. Go to Image, canvas size, set the width and height.
2.2 Set Selection
-Go to file, click new. Set width and height. Use rectangle marquee tool to make a selection, choose a color, go to edit stroke, set the width.

- If image from film you should scan image first.
- The most modern was digital camera and download to computer.
- Bring image file from PDF to use for work.
- If you want photo express you can connect the internet and search the image from internet.
Basic to load image use for work
- Click file, open, choose folder that keep file you want.
- Open that file or every file can be possible 26 kind of file image.
- Look formats in window, click open.
- If you want to know detail of program file press F1 program will open home page, process, and show information that how to use photo shop.
- Click link search and key word about file format then there will show detail of file format.
Search more for image in internet
- Connect the internet.
- Open internet explorer.
- Go to website that you want or go to www.google.com
- Click link image and put your key word that you want.
- Click image, right click, save picture as, type name that you want to put in file , and specific the position that you will save in name, click save.
Use image from PDF
- Click file, import, PDF image, choose file that you want and open it.
- At the top will show PDF image import, if you want image more than one image press “Ctrt” for a minute and click OK, close picture.
Scan image to use in Photoshop
- Prepare your picture that you want to scan, and make sure that you connect the scanner.
- Put picture in scanner.
- Click file, import, WIA-Hewlett-Packard Scan Jet 4200c…
- Click WIA support if you connect many cameras or many scanner you should click WIA support.
- Choose 4 form:
Color picture
Grayscale picture (B / W)
Click link “Adjust the quality of the scanned picture” it’ll show Advanced Properties.
- Then you need to manage your brightness, contrast, and resolution.
About bitmap images
- If you want to manage it’s depend on intensity of light (or color) R=red G=green B=blue.
- Pixel was a form of digital.
- DPI=Dot Por Inch
- Conclude=look at the necessary thing that you want to use
1. The image uses on computer or internet use about 72 DPI.
2. For design work or retouch use about 180-300 DPI or more.
3. Click OK.
4. Click scan.
5. Move the image to proper place and then click image, rotate canvas, click the direction you want like (90 ccw)
6. Make a good image like crop on image and click at Rectangular Marquee Tool, Drake mouse, and specific selection that you want.
7. Click image and choose crop.
8. Save for new picture.
Print Image
- 2 ways
1. Don’t need to see image and specific word before you set to print file, print, choose to save name, click properties, specific that how many image you want, OK.
2. Print with preview click file, print with preview , and see position(cm, inches)
Top and Left
- Scale to fit Media(full paper)
- Show Bounding Box
- Click page setup.
- Size
- Source (what kind of paper?)
- Portrait / Landscape at Orientation.
- Click printer, OK, OK, print, OK so you can print image file.
Manage image by file Browser
- Can see image file.
- Rename image file.
- Delete
- Look for image, detail of file.
- Move the image.
- Put Meta and Key word for image.
- Concluding every order Automate (convenient)
Basic layer
- The best helper of photo shop.
- Sometime have the mistake when you drawing the image if you use layer to help.
- When you create in layer1 don’t worry about problem to another layer.
- Easy to design, create, and improve
- First click at move tool, select Auto select layer for automatic, try to move picture.
Built image on internet
- It shouldn’t over 40 KB for faster to download the image. (4 kinds)
1. Gif=the qualifications to transparent, moving image but have only 256 colors.
2. JPEG=brief the information of image very small but the quality not good as real one but its ok.
3. PNG=can record nature 16 million color
4. SWF=animation file and the form of file flat very popular right now.
