Returns

Side Return

Start with the nunchaku under your arm in your armpit.Swimg diagonally to the side of your body (hip) hitting the chain on your side. Swing your arm back into the middle of your body while doing a downward circle with your nunchaku and back into its original position.You dont have to return it back to its original position the options are uncountable.

Inner Thigh Return

Start with the nunchaku in your armpit (remembering you can have lots lots more starting points).Swing the nunchaku straight down between your legs hitting the chain on the inner thigh of your leg. Quickly swing your chucks back up catching it howerver you want.Personally i do a upward circle and catch the nunchaku with my right hand over my shoulder and my left hand under my elbow holding the left stick.

Neck Return

Pick a starting point. Swing the nunchaku horizontally across your neck so the chain hits the left part of your neck (this may hurt the first couple of times because the chain pinches the skin but you soon figure it out).The best way to return it is to do a horizontal circle and back under the armpit. This is not a really good return but it might come in handy one day.If you are using returns for self-defense the best ones are the inner thigh and side return.

Arm Return

Get into a starting point. Swing the nunchaku like you would with the neck return only hitting your upper arm. Do the come back as the neck return(a horizontal circle).

Twirling

Hold the top nunchaku on an angle with the other free stick dangling.Flip the nunchaku around your hand.The chain should roll over your hand.And then catch it in a reverse grasp.You can twirl the nunchaku after nearly any return.
