THE WILD WORLD OF WESTERN WEATHER
                                                                                              DISCLAIMER:
It may sound a little off the wall, but we don't nor can we rely on a weather forecast.  We compete with a huge icefield to our west and are at the base of Bow & Crowfoot Glaciers.  In June, July, August and September we had snow storms.  So the weather listed on the Weather Network for Lake Louise is probably not near what it is here, just 40 km's north of Lake Louise.  Every day, hopefully(!), I will try and update you on things like ice on Bow Lake, snowfall, temperature and other weather occurances like northern lights, chinooks etc.
February 27th, 2003-
Mild, near -2 degrees as a high, with nil winds.  Light dusting of snow over the past three days.  Clear skies today low near -18.

Bow Lake- Frozen over, 2 feet of powder
X-Country Trails- Great, 1.75 feet of snow.
Icefield Parkway- Snow covered.
