| 4 objects..........the minimum number? by Sam Hartford Some individuals have made the statement that 4 balls is the threshold of numbers juggling. That is to say, juggling 3 balls is not numbers juggling, 4 balls is numbers, and any higher number of objects is numbers juggling. However, what basis does thes quantification have? Well, the argument could be made that 3 balls is the first number of objects that (most) jugglers learn. Therefore, any number above 3 is relatively advanced, and is one more step up the numbers ladder. Althogh this argument seems fairly logical, some jugglers believe that numbers juggling starts at 5 objects. For an essay supporting that belief, click here. |
