When I was six, my dad died. My mom re-married this guy and everything was kewl, till I turned 13, then he started to come to me at night, and do stuff. At first I really didn't understand and when I finally did, I got scared. He told me not to tell anyone or he would hurt my mom, so I kept quiet. I started cuttin when I was 14 and and ran away alot. I was finally made a ward of the state and taken to Horizon. Once I got here, I was really alot of trouble, but now I keep mostly to myself, though I still cut in secret.

My parents are divorced and my step-dad, Jake, was trying to take over my life, I couldn't go any where without his consent. He abused me when he got drunk and I did a small mistake, like spill a bit of milk. My mom, Erika, never knew of this because she was always working. I ran away numerous times just to get away from him but would be caught leaving or coming back for money. My mom gave up on me and let my step-dad take care of me. I have two step-brothers, Gary and Teddie, both of whom would try to hit on me and stuff. I started doing drugs just to slip away from everything. No one really noticed, all my friends slipped away and vanished. The day before my dad, William, took me to Horizon he caught me smoking weed because Teddie had just payed a visit to me. I just wanted to forget it. So, I built walls to keep people out.

Basically, My parents didn't really give me enough attention, and I started running away, and starving myself. Only the problem was that i'm black, and my parents say that those kinds of things don't happen to black people. So it makes me even more crazy, did I mention that I have Bi polar? But nothing really bad happened to me in my childhood, which makes it even more difficult for my parents and friends.

My sister, Maggie is here with me too, to start with. We were abused by our father after our mothers' death, but I got it the most, because I look just like her. I started cutting and using 'shrooms after I turned 12 and Maggie sorta just followed suit. We are Identical twins, except that my scars are more in numbers from cutting. I feel lost and betrayed, because the one person I trusted to tell, my boyfriend, called social services after I almost died from a cut. I really stick close with my sister here, but I really and into going off into the woods by myself, especially with a cute guy, because I used to turn tricks and I still like to. When I was little, my dad used to drink alot, and when he did, he would hit me or "touch" me in ways that I was scared of. Because of this I became a gang member. I ran with the roughest around, and got myself caught with a guy too many times. I was also caught taking all the wrong "meds" and was told that I could go to jail or to Mt. Horizon. So... you guess what I chose.
Once I got here, I found that the one guy from my old gang that I had the hots for was here. Aggie. Geeze, I missed him and all my gang members so bad, and now I am trying to get close to him once again. His new friends have changed him so much, I don't know IF I can though

I wouldn't tell. It was because of the abuse that I recieved that I became a gang member. I am afraid that someone might think that I am making up my story just to find a way out of the school and back to the gang.

Why she's here-
I used to be a singer and a very good one at that. I was in all these extra activities at school. I have one younger siser(Rose) and and older step-brother(Josh). I had a great boyfriend and a new dad. My mom had remarried two years before i was 16. When I was 15 my boyfriend was killed in a skydiving inccident. I had then became afraid of heights. When I was 16 my stepbrother started molesting me. then two months later my step dad started doing the same thing. I ran away constantly and started cutting. I stopped cutting in 1 month of being on the streets. I had stolen my mothers car. I sold my body to by , alchohol and food. I stripped at a club for a little while to make money also. I lived on the streets for 9 months before my mother found me. She brought me to Horizon when I turned 17. Before taking me here my step father continued molesting me. also when I was 16 I had a baby at 16 and a half and got my figure back though.
