Jay Barker is the winningest quarterback in Alabama Crimson Tide Football History. He attended the university from 1990-1994. He was red shirted in 1990 and so he played from 1991-1994. He became the starting quarterback late in his freshman season. He won 35 games in 38 starts over his career. When he left Alabama he held several passing records. Career pass completions 402, pass attempts 706, and passing yards 5,689 just to name a few. Best of all is his testimony for the Lord. He is a strong committed Christian. He gets a lot of requests I am sure to speak of his faith for things like Fellowship of Christian Athletes meetings. I have met him before and he is a great guy.
