Well, Besides my family, I have a lot of friends that I love to spend time with. Most of them are associated with our church, or other churches we have been a part of over the years. One of the interests that I share with several of them is my love for Southern Gospel Music. I have too many groups that I like to name them all. But a couple of them are Gold City and the Cathedrals.

Well, I want to talk some more about Gospel Music for a minute. I went to Gold City's Homecoming concert in Gadsden, Alabama on Friday night. In concert with Gold City were the Galloways, Tony Gore, The Hayes Family and Johnny Parrack. Johnny Parrack is the father of Gold City's tenor singer Jay. Johnny Parrack used to sing with the Kingsmen Quartet. Both Johnny and Jay Parrack can really sing the high tenor part. The Galloways and the Hayes family are two good sounding family groups. These groups really did a good job at Gold City's Homecoming concert on Friday night the 19th of July.
