During the 2001 - 2002 broadcast season, I was privileged to be a regular guest on the CBC Radio program "Basic Black" hosted by Arthur Black, which was aired on the national service. I discussed with Arthur nine intriguing topics drawn from the more peculiar corners of human experience. Alas, that was Arthur's final season, and he is now enjoying a much-deserved retirement.
