A Crossdresser's Christmas List
Every family has traditions associated with the holidays, especially Christmas. The obvious ones are the Christmas tree...decorated with special heritage ornaments. Or the mistletoe in the front hall. All the stockings lined up on the mantle, the bedroom door knobs, or that very special place that only happens in YOUR family. A strange one in our family is that every year we have known each other, and that makes about 31 Christmases, I get him a flashlight. No two identical flashlights in 31 years! And, I always get him a femme surprise. If you are new to the crossdressing in your life, or have no idea what to get, let me offer a few hints.

A perfect sock gift can be pantyhose, tights, or leotards. They love the fit and feel, the sheerness, the silky material. If you are unsure of size, I would suggest Leggs Everyday Queen size. The queensize allows for longer legs, even in a very trim person. Opt for a neutral tone, or really suprise her with an offblack pair. Avoid fishnet. Shell think you are making fun of her and not taking this serious.

And speaking of taking it serious, keep you eyes open for something totally unexpected. One year I found crossdressing magnetic paper dolls. The doll was a statue of Michaelangelos David, yes, the naked one! Both the doll and the clothes were magnetic. David could wear the slinky sequin dress, feather boa and blonde hair. Or a chic little business suit including the dog in the purse. Flamenco dress. Red leather corset and thigh high boots. Well, you get the picture.

Panties, panties, panties. Well, if you can find jockey shorts embroidered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, that might be ok, but they better be nylon with lace trim. Otherwise, most Cders can never have too many pairs of panties.

Which brings up another question. What size to buy in clothes. If you dont have a good idea already, go for the stretch. Lingerie that adjusts, stretches, and is lacy. Skirts and slacks with elastic waists. Tops with just straps, like teddies. Or tops with barrel sleeves that are intended to blouse at the wrist are generally a little longer in the sleeve. If you have a choice of two garments, one sized as a "12 and the other Large, go for the generic sizing. Generally the article has a greater range than the numbered sizes. Try on his shirt at home, then try on the gift outfit. The fit should be about the same if you are close to the right size.

More ideas. Clip or magnetic earrings. Make sure they have a some weight so she feels them. And dangles that hit the side of the neck are great. A pair of very weak drug store reading glasses and neck chain that looks very femme. Matching underwire bra and panties in a luscious shade of something. Lipstick. Nail polish. Bubble bath. Something that smells heavenly and bubbles to the top of the tub. A negligee that is filmy sheer or a very demure high-necked gown with lace at the sleeves and neck. Youll know which! Ive given bustiers, winter coats with bright pink gloves and hat, dresses, shoes, and purses. Try to find a pair of elbow length formal gloves. (Do they still make them?) A full length pink slip trimmed in black lace. A bottle of very floral perfume that is NOTHING like you would wear.

Still at a loss? How about a little bit of you? Make a coupon good for one days worth of dressing to be redeemed when she wants it oh-h-h so-o-o bad. And you offer to take scads of pictures of her! Maybe youll offer to do her make-up. Paint her fingernails. Her toenails. Freshen up the wig with a little change in style. Draw a bubble bath.

What ever you decide, make sure it is wrapped in the most feminine Christmas paper you have. Tie a piece of lace around it instead of ribbon. Make sure that the article inside is swaddled in tissue paper and maybe even a drop of scent inside the box. Wait until the two of you are alone...this is not the gift that comes from under the tree with the whole family there. It is a very private, very special time for both of you. You are so proud of your creativity and she is just pleased beyond her imagination at your thoughtfulness and care in selecting something that is just Oh, so-o-o perfect!
