Warhammer 40,000 is set in the late 41st Millenium. In this dark and twisted age, Mankinds great empire is threatened with destruction. The Impirum of Man was won in a series of Blitzkreig wars waged by the Immortal God-Emperor himself and his 20 primarch sons, each leading a full Space Marine legion accross the stars. As victory was within his grasp, the Emperor was betrayed by his most powerfull and beloved son, Horus. In an epic battle that saw planets detroyed, hundreds of billions dead and a war that spanned the galaxy, what the Emperor had built over hundreds of years was torn down litteraly overnight. Although the God Emperor bested Horus in combat at the climax of  the Seige of Earth, the Emperors body was mortally wounded. His incredible powers were exhousted as the Emperor made clear his final orders, and eventually let his body suffer the wounds inflicted upon it by Horus. Broken and unable to contain it, his body releaced his soul released into the warp. Now, the emperors body is preserved from decay, his guiding light still shining through his Earth bound remains and his proctective presence safe guarding all Mankind from the Warp. Yet this light grows dimmer by the year. The sickening Xenos threat sences the end of the Impirum of Mankind is near, and like carrion birds do a dying man, they circle the Impirum, awaiting eagerly is demise. Only the strength of the Space Marines and the numberless armies of the Impirial Guard can save Mankind now.

Gaius Moralian
According to my VERRY fluffy Second Legion, Gaius is the only marine allowed to touch the sacred and ancient artifact, the Broken Sword of Saint Charmaloe - the origional founder of the chapter and first commander of their fortress-homeworld. Gaius is used as a chaplain, his iron halo replaces whatever chaplains have as their invunerable save, and the sword is an ancient relic, which fellow chapter members recognise as the embodification of the emporers devine justice.
Captain Khronos of the First Company
Whenever a situation is desperate, Khronos, and his elite Terminator Bodyguards, the Triarii (prenounced Tree-Ouri-Eye) Are always on the scene where the fighting is thickest. In game terms, this is my excuse for abusing the deep-strike rule on the terminators. Haha! - Khronos is a Master in-game and has a master-crafted power sword and 5 terminator bodyguards. Huzzah!
Guardsman Captain
Captain Khronos - Again
The Emerpor of Mankind
I dont like how this one turned out, however, its on here 'coz all my pictures suck anyway. Anyhoo, fluffwise, the Emperor of mankind is dead, although his body is preserved by the arcane secrets of his Golden Throne, his soul was lost forever into the Warp, and he probably spends his days hiding from the Chaos Gods - when there not too busy trying to tear apart the Impirium through their motal and dammned servants. This picture is based on the 'final battle' picture in the Rulebook,.

Home?
Everything mentioned here, with the acception of characters, are all copywright GamesWorkshop, and no storyline, with the acception of the army fluff, is my work. On a side note, WH40K puts star wars to shame, and this is spoken from a devoted SW fan.
WARHAMMER OWN JOO!!
This is my converted Guardsman Captain. He isn't an expert fighter, he's just a Human after all, but he has carapace armour (converted from the marine who fires the Storm Bolter in the Space Marine vehicle sets) 2 Plasma Pistols (I just say its master crafted and pay some extra points. hehehe) and a Power Sword. Amazingly, this guy was made entirely from old bitz, and a guardsman my mate swapped me for a Can of Dr.Pepper, which cost me 20p!
I did a close up of Khronos in his Terminator Armour. He has terminator armour as my Standard Bearer has a Holy Relic (Well, Gaius has it, but if people complain when I say 'This guy has a holy relic, but he isnt supposed too, I've paid for the points and it uses the only rare item slot for my whole army, do you mind?' and they say yes, my standar bearer uses his flag as the 'Legion Banner' rather than Gaius using his 'Broken Sword') and I cant have an Iron Halo in my army as the result.
Gaius battle armour close up
A nice close-up of Gaius in his battle armour. I really, REALLY love this picture.
Angel of Death
A picture I drew whilst watching Billy Elliot, about a week ago. I'm really happy with most of this picture. However, I'm not happy with the muzzle flash on the gun, or the Marine's right leg. That *thing* at the bottom is supposed to be his foot, curling at the toes. Ahem.. yes, well. He IS sprinting into the frey, boltgun blazing as he goes.
Captain Khronos, Angel of Death
A picture of Khronos i coloured on image ready, 'cos I actually cant get the paintbrush on photoshop to f'king work. T_T. Anyhoo, this is mighterlyerly woosome. On a side note, as completely unlike Warhammer 40,000 as it is, I might invest in Dawn of War and Winter Assault. Why? Guardsmen! YEAY!
