Education Costs are getting out of hand, it is time for New Jersey Taxpayers to pressure their Senators and Congressmen to search for alternative ways of funding education.

Helmetta and East Brunswick residents recently voted down the school budget and it was overturned because of low voter turnout. Since when does a vote not count regardless of how many people voted?

The Helmetta and East Brunswick Council seems to think votes do not count. They overturned the voter's decision not to increase taxes.  Even if the budget was voted down by one vote, it seems to me the majority has spoken.

Why couldn't they cut the budget? Why is it education must have every cent they ask for?  Business and  individuals have to make cuts when necessary, why not education?

Make your voice heard in November.  Contact your Senators and Congressmen, from the local level on up, let them know you are tired of being taxed to death.
