| Nuikars Nite Ride to Gertak Sanggul (Thursday May 17 2001.) Another nite ride cum makan and this time its Mee Udang at Gertak Sanggul. The riders were Richard, Me (Faz), Lawlee, Richie,Raymond and Stef. Stef is starting to becoming a regular rider now.Good for her. Andy couldn�t join as he was still nursing his shoulder. But he did ride with us, on a Yamaha RXZ 135 cc, which the rear light was not working! Me, Richard and Lawlee made it to the end of Gertak sanggul while the others stopped at the Mee Udang shop. Richard and I had fun racing with a bus kilang. The driver was very sporting and I guess he wanted to see how fast Richard and I can go. He did not overtake us but merely followed us while we pedaled like mad. We touched 46km/h on the Gertak Sanggul road. When we cycled back to the mee udang shop, I saw some YSTs from Motorola eating there also. Ini mesti Andy and Richard punya kerja. After the very sedap mee udang, we started back and the ride took us about two hours and forty five minutes with the makan time included. It was a good nite ride at a very relaxing pace, except where Richard and I raced with the bus kilang. I now have a new speed training method�..look for bus kilangs and race them, as long as they don�t drive over me���takut wooooo! |
