This is my plecostamus. One left of two, the second one did not survive the move from central Illinois to Louisville, KY (it was injured during the drive here). This sucker is over 6" long, eats algae off the plants as well as dried Tubifex Worms, and algae discs. Any time I feed the other fishes, I have to add an algae disc or cube of Tubifex worms, otherwise it races around the tank looking for food. I had no idea these fish would eat anything other than algae, and discovered it quite by accident about 3 years ago. This baby is over 4 years old and will soon require a larger tank...fortunately, I have a 70 gal tank that is due to be set up before long.

A face shot. Sometimes something is so ugly that it is, in it's own right, beautiful and appealing!

A little fuzzy, but a bit closer...if it would just hold still!
