We the Elegant Ladies of Nu Eta Citywide Collegiate Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated welcome you to our new location on the web.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a historically black sorority based on Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service - deemphasizing the social aspect of Greek life.

Founded on the campus of Howard University, 22 phenomenal women had a vision of excellence that lives on today in over 250,000 members and over 900 chapters internationally.

In 1938, Delta looked to the Midwest and decided that this area needed to be blessed by her presence.
And therefore, The BETA NU MIXED CHAPTER was chartered.
Over the years, Delta restructured. And in the year of 1976,
THE NU ETA UNDERGRADUATE CHAPTER  was chartered.

13 dedicated women sprang forth from the sands...
Katherine Ward, Leonia Bonds, Sherlene Shaifer,
Verenda Hooks (Omega Omega), Sallie Carlisle, Betty Davis-Denson, Sheila Brown, Joi Lynn Edwards-Kennedy, Deborah Williford-Simpson, Charlotte Malone-Williams, Sharon Metcalf,
Linda Peterson, Karen Mayberry.

Today, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Nu Eta Citywide Collegiate Chapter humbly serves the campuses of:

Indiana University Northwest
Purdue University Calumet
Valparaiso University
St. Joseph's College of Calumet
