Although an “Over Alien” from an unspecified Upper Caste, Karna is almost as much a misfit as NieA, which is most likely the root cause of their strong animosity toward one another. Karna’s shrill criticism of just about everyone and everything around her (except herself) is probably done to cover up her own insecurities and sense of failure, for, while Karna has an impressive looking antenna, she also has incredibly poor reception control that tends to put her into a trance at the most inopportune moments.
Karna dresses in Chinese style clothing and has also devoted time to studying the martial arts.

Initially, one might believe the dark-skinned, mustachioed Chada is a more terrestial transplant to Enohana, a Hindu Indian living in Japan. However, his abnormally large head, and his personality and mannerisms that go beyond stereotype, past quirky, and into the realm of insanely cartoonish reveal that he is in fact an Alien.
Chada uses the turban and assumed Indian accent to hide his more extreme alieness. This plan is severely flawed, as Chada can’t get Indian or Japanese sayings or cultural mores straight, and is constantly committing social faux-pas. Whenever he thinks he’s understood something, he has invariably misunderstood it, such as his continually complimenting women on their “nice jugs.” Nonetheless, Chada continues his attempts to master earth culture, carefully writing down every error he makes in a notebook he carries with him.
Chada is the most ambitious and creative of the aliens featured prominently
in the series. He also appears to be the one who is most concerned about
alien culture and hosts regular Alien Citizen Meetings. He hosts these
meetings in the upstairs of the AM 11 PM 7 convenience store, serving experimental
curry dishes to those few who actually bother to attend. Based on this
effort to be a community leader (of sorts), one can assume that he an Over
caste alien, but his caste is not known.

Chada’s personal gear consists of one or more buildings and their content, the businesses he happens to be operating at that point in time. His primary business is the AM 11 PM 7 convenience store, which is located in a particularly desolate spot between the Crater and Enohana; it succeeds almost despite itself. He is always attempting to “diversify,” so unusual businesses are constantly opening in and around the area—nearly all as disastrously inappropriate in nature as the Space King Bathhouse.
