Assassinroids

The assassinroids represented a major step forward in robot design. With superior engineering of their bodies and far superior computer brains, they could pass perfectly for humans. Their programming matrix was even sophisticated enough that they could be programmed with complete range of emotions, likes and dislikes, and just about anything else one could mention if one was making a list of elements that go into defining personalities.

Unfortunately, no matter what personality traits assassinroids were programmed with, they swiftly descended into murderous psychosis, with female models being even more unstable than the males. Conception, the company behind the creation of these machines, struggled to perfect these murder machines—or at least make them more predictable and manageable, as once they were activated, stopping them through means short of total destruction was very difficult; unlike Second-type robots, assassinroids were not constructed with easily accessible off-switches. When the innovator behind the assassinroids quit the project, it was discontinued.

However, the Martian government and Rene D’Anclaude continued to work with existing assassinroids. It was these assassinroids that D’Anclaude ultimately turned to in his efforts to destroy all Third-type robots.

D’Anclaude Assassinroid (40 Mecha Points)

Wilbur (30 Mecha Points)

This reprogrammed assassinroid was Dr. Asakura’s only companion during his long isolation within Dunwich Hill. It is identical in appearance to the D’Anclaude assassinroids, except that Dr. Asakura never bothered to replace the artificial skin after opening Wilbur’s skull, leaving the metal of which it is built exposed.

Armitage Copy  (50 Mecha Points)

Demitrio made at least two copies of Armitage that had most of the capabilities of the original, though they lacked a true personality of their own and could not reproduce. Just as dangerous in combat, the copies evidenced no ability to control electronics but came equipped with a retracting blade in the arm that they used with deadly precision. They were also slightly faster than Armitage but lacked her real-life combat experience, and were no match for her when she shut off her Combat Mode Limiter.
