My name is Barbara, and I'd like to tell you about myself. I was born in Brixton, South London on August 5th 1940, and I hardly knew my Father who was killed in action when I was 4 years old.
After Dad died my Mother had to go into service and as a result I spent most of my life in a convent. I don't like to admit it, but because of this I did not have much education and cannot now read or write.
I left the convent to return to my Mother when I was 21. By then Mum had found herself a boyfriend, and was more relaxed in her attitude towards Nudity and Sex, which allowed me to walk around the house in the nude or in only a bath robe. I also discovered the delights of Sex after I left the convent, and was very sexually active.
When I was 28 I married, but was 32 and had a son by the time that I realised that I had made a mistake. My husband was a chronic alcholic and so narrow minded that I was not even allowed to wear a mini skirt let alone walk around in the nude as I liked to do, and after our son was born sex with my husband was non-existent. I stuck the marriage out for my son's sake until he was 21, when after a couple of affairs, I decided that enough was enough and walked out.
I left my husband, I got myself a Council flat and a job in an old folks home, working shifts. I then often used to sit in or do my housework in the nude when I was'nt working. I found living alone lonely though, and began to meet men becoming as sexually active as I was before my marriage.
I met my present partner, Trevor, in 1997, when he came back to London after living for 12 years in Holland because his marriage had broken up and have lived with him ever since. I hope that we will marry sometime next year.
Trevor and his wife had both been nudists, and when he found out that I liked to be naked indoors, he asked me if I had ever thought about being nude in the open air and in public. I told him that I did'nt think that it was possible to do that, so he told me about nudist clubs and beaches. I agreed to give it a try, so Trevor took me to Leysdown and some of the clubs. I found it so nice that I could not wait to go again.
Talking to Trevor one day about my life with my ex, Trevor realised that I liked a lot of SEX, and told me that if two people cared enough about each other, it was possible for them to have sex with other people without destroying their own relationship and told me about swinging. I agreed to give this a try as well so Trevor took me to some swingers clubs that he knew. Our divorces were made final in 2000, and Trevor decided that he wanted to move back to Holland, so I asked to go with him. We moved to the City of Zwolle in November 2000, and together we have made a nice home for ourselves, from nothing, in a first floor flat, of a brand new block on an estate that is being built about 10 minutes from the centre of Zwolle. Because the Dutch are much more open about nudity than the English, it is possible for us to live completely naked, and I now only put on a jacket and skirt or trousers with nothing else to go out.
Because we are both retired from work, we spend a lot of our time at the local naturist park near our home, which I like very much, and we go about once a month to one of the local couples clubs which makes a very enjoyable evening out.
I like living in Holland which is very much cleaner than England, but I do miss having friends that I can phone up to chat about the the things that we do. I hope that from this web site that Trevor is making, we might make some more friends, thatI can not only chat to, but also visit each other now and again to go out to clubs and beaches, have a meal together, or just enjoy an evening at home with.
