This page is all about my favorite band Nuclear Assault. I'm a musician who plays both guitar and drums. These guys have had a tremendous impact on me. They're just plain the greatest! If you've never heard a Nuclear Assault song, and use KaZaA or anything like that, some of their best songs are "Wake Up" "New Song" "Live, Suffer, Die" "Game Over" "Technology" and "Equal Rights". I love this band so much because their music is fast, heavy, and aggressive. Another HUGE reason is because they dared to go beyond the typical metal lyrics based on Satan and killing. Songs like "Nuclear War" "Brainwashed" and "When Freedom Dies" really get you thinking. Nuclear Assault consists of John Connelly (Guitar/Vocals), Anthony Bramante (Guitar), Dan Lilker (Bass), and Glenn Evans (Drums). In chronological order their releases have been
Game Over

Handle With Ca
re (1989 In-Effect) Live at the Hammersmith Odeon (Live 1990 Combat) after splitting up and reforming Out of Order (1991 I.R.S.) and after splitting up again and having to replace Anthony Bramante with Dave DiPietro and Dan Lilker with Scott Metaxas Something Wicked (1993 I.R.S.) and they broke for good(?). All the albums after the initial break-up were way sub-par, especially considering how fantastic they were before. Even Dan Lilker himself said "Handle With Care was the last good record, I can admit that now." In 1997, Assault & Battery was released by I.R.S. It is a compilation and has many rare and live tracks on it, as well as a couple very good common studio tracks. In early 2002, Nuclear Assault reformed! The original line-up of John, Anthony, Dan, and Glenn are back together, have recorded a new live album entitled Alive Again that is to be distributed through Screaming Ferret Wreckords (http://screammingferret.com), and are currently working on new material for a new studio album! The live album contains ALL songs from their first 3 albums, so expect there new studio album to kick ass!
