The year is winding down to an end with still so much to do.  The May Charity Marathon is coming and Quilts in the Park for June. (Remember we meet on the 3rd Saturday in June, June 21st)  Bring in your quilt enty forms to the May meeting. The summer has several things going on so make sure you review the upcoming events in the newsletter.
The time has come to change direction. I hope that my position as president was a positive change towards a progressive future. Thank you to all of those who have been supportive during my terms and for all of the  accomplishments that you have made possible.  It has always been my goal to make this guild an informative spring board for alll those who participate and I feel that the various committee chairs were supportive in providing inspiring workshops, thank you Francine, Josaine and Vicki, fabric collecting, thank you Catherine, a detailed newsletter, thank you Aleeda and Annette Garrett and accurate record keeping, thank you Vicki, Lynda and Adrianana.  I also would like to thank my vice presidents, Annnette Aponte and Shelbe for keeping me grounded.
We accomplished so much during the past two years, the Crane House Show, Quilts in the Park, workshops with interesting teachers, from within and outside of the guild, and field trips to new and familiar places.  I hope that these are mere stair steps for the future accomplishments and information that the guild will provide.
Thank you again for the fabulous opportunity to facilitate the meetings and fellowship with all of you.  Good luck to the new slate of officers.
Finally, I want to remind members to check your email and pass on information that comes to you between meeting dates and newsletters.
