Nubian Food is unique both in taste and perparation.As Nubians are scarttered all over Uganda and Kenya, they also tend to adapt with the regional cooking.

KISIRA - Is a white paper like bread,normally prepared from Lagin (Lagin is watery,prepared from pounded maize without husk,its pounded into a smooth paste)

GURUSA- Its a Chapatti - pancake like- prepared with similar paste with additives for partial fermentation.

LEBERE -This is Kisira dried in the sun to became like corn flakes.

FETIR- This is Kisira treated with burut sugar then cooked in oil.

MONGOLOBO- This is a type of cake made from Lagin.
