Kar Ken is a second year Accountancy student who decided to join the NTU Fencing Club in his first year because he wanted to pick up a new sport. Fencing was apparently the most attractive one because he gets to poke people with a piece of metal, something he doesn't get to do anywhere else. He picked up foil because he believes that in foil, all aspects of fencing are equally involved and so it is a better starting weapon as a beginner. Other than fencing, he loves to play basketball and weiqi too. If you ever need someone to play basketball with, he will never turn you down (without a good excuse).
