“Phytocoenotic structure
of park plantations of Lviv region and the guidelines of their improvement”
Actuality of theme
Upon solving the problems connected with formation of cultural landscape
the scientists and practitioners are often faced with issues of green
plantations tolerance to the conditions of urbanized medium. The
ecological-phytocoenotic aspects of forming the park plantations are most
important in assessment of their condition and stability to external factors, as
well as prognosis of their development. Elaboration of general theoretical
concepts of park phytocoenoses requires in-depth research of space structure of
park plantations, their entropic properties, setting up of direct contact
relations and interrelations between components, study of specifics of
development of culture phytocoenoses in the course of time and space, and
influence of anthropogenic activity. That is why in the elaboration of
scientifically-substantiated recommendations for modern garden-park management
and landscape architecture, the issues of structure and dynamics of park
phytocoenoses are dominant, and this thesis is devoted to this matter.
