RULES

Super Nationals

TRUCKS:

*Members MUST pod up ONLY the truck you are using and the track being used, nothing else. It causes lag if you .pod up other things not being used.

*Trucks must be under 1400 vertices and be approved by RobbyH14, Robbie Milburn, or Dustin Hart when you sign up. Both replicas and customs are allowed, so pretty much anything without a knife, chainsaw, or something totally bizarre or unrealistic will be approved. This is NTNT Super Nationals, where you can race what you want.

*Drivers may change trucks ONCE and ONLY ONCE during a season.

*YOU MAY ONLY SIGN UP USING ONE TRUCK, NO MORE THAN ONE.

*Teams are fine, but try not to monopolize ALL of the trucks of a certain kind (for example Grave Diggers). If someone is not running a truck that is still available, even if that truck was meant to be part of a team, then someone not affiliated with that team has every right to use it.

TRACKS:

*Input on the schedule is appreciated and encouraged. I try to put tracks on the schedule that are fun to both race and freestyle on, with a pit area and low lag. If you would like to make a track for the season schedule, that would be great. Just contact me and I'll get something set up with you.

GENERAL INFORMATION YOU SHOULD KNOW:

POINTS SYSTEM:

If you miss a race and have no sub ONCE, you will receive whatever the lowest qualifying, racing, wheelie, and freestyle scores are. After this occurs once, you had better find a sub or make your races, because it won't happen again. Once again, this can only happen ONCE during the season. These are commonly referred to as the "royalty points."

QUALIFYING:

In Super Nationals there are no points awarded for qualifying; it sets the brackets and determines lane choice-that's it.

RACING:

1st place-40 points                6th and below-20

2nd-35

3rd-32

4th-30

5th-25

FREESTYLE:

*Each truck will get one minute to freestyle on the track, just like in Thunder Nationals.

*Unlike NTNT, there is no grace period for Super Nationals. If you flip and don't roll back onto your wheels, you're done.

*Judges that are found to be "screwing over" other drivers on scores will be suspended for the next race and given a 0 for the night in freestyle points. Do not whine about your scores if you think you should have gotten a 7 and you got a 6 or something like that though.

*Three judges will watch your run and judge you on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best. 30 is a perfect score.

WHEELIE CONTEST:

*Each truck gets ONE attempt at doing the best sky-wheelie they can do.

*Freestyle obstacles may NOT be used. Keep it to the cars and that's it.

*Three judges score each attempt on a scale of 1-10, so 30 is a perfect score just like freestyle.

*If you flip your truck, you receive zero (0) points.

This means that the most points you could possibly earn on a given night is 100!

RACING:

*Drivers will meet in the chat room that is on the main page 15 minutes BEFORE race time. The IP address will be given out at the assigned time racing is scheduled to begin. We will start racing the time we are supposed to. People wishing to enter after the race time will be allowed in, but if we've already started racing, then you will ONLY be allowed to freestyle, no exceptions. For more information about the IP address and other important things, visit the Newbie Cheat Sheet page here at the site.

*NO ARGUING OR USELESS CRAP WILL BE TOLERATED! The first time you will receive a warning, second-a zero for the night in racing, wheelie, and freestyle points, third-you are banned. If you want to chat or just screw around uselessly, please go do it elsewhere. We want to have fun, not listen to two people cussing each other out or some idiot trying to screw up a game for "fun."

*If you flip in qualifying, you will be dropped to the bottom of the racing bracket with the "slowest" time automatically.

*If poles or obstacles marking turns and such are hit or run through, a five-second penalty is assessed for each pole and added on to the offending driver's time.

*If a racer claims he or she received glitches or lagged a lot (and I mean a lot), then a ProDRO-style "Gentleman's Choice" will be allowed. What this means is that the person who did not receive the glitch or lag may grant a rerun with the person that did have it happen to them. HOWEVER, whatever choice they make is final. Just remember though, if you don't give someone a "gentleman's choice" and the tables are turned, other people may not give you one next time.

*In the event of a tie or race that is too close to call, everyone in that game will go back to the multiplayer room and view the replay of the race, then take a vote on who they think won. If the votes are tied or the race is still too close to call, a rerun will occur.

*BOTH of the truck's front tires must hit the jumps on the track, otherwise a five-second penalty will be added onto the time.

*People not involved with the race who are just sitting in the pits should watch one racer for poles or infractions and report them to the host/official if they occur.

*If connection problems occur or you have any problems at all, either contact the official/host or get on AOL Instant Messenger(AIM) or Yahoo! Messenger and contact them, or go back to the event chat room.

*If you miss 3 races in a row your scores will be zeroed and you will be removed from the member list.

SUBSTITUTE DRIVERS:

*If you know ahead of time that you won't be able to make a race at the scheduled time, don't take a 0 for the night! Instead, I will allow you to hire a substitute driver to take your place and earn you points for that night. The substitute can be anyone, signed up or not signed up. One person CAN race two trucks in a night, their normal truck and a truck they're subbing for someone with. To keep this from being abused, however, substitute drivers receive 5 racing points and 1 freestyle point added onto their scores for the points standings. This may not seem like much, but it could make a big difference. The driver who hired the substitute driver will receive the actual number of points minus 1 point in racing and 1 in freestyle, for example if I hire a substitute because I can't attend the race and that sub gets 50 points in racing and 20 in freestyle then I would receive 49 points in racing and 19 in freestyle.

*Another thing to keep this rule from being abused-If the ACTUAL DRIVER that signed up does not attend three events in a row, even if he had a substitute for all of them, his scores will be zeroed.

*If you attend all the races or have someone sub for the races you can't be at, you stand a MUCH better chance of: 1. Having fun. and 2. Doing well in the standings and qualifying for the NTNT World Finals 2 and NTNT SUPER NATIONALS FINALS.

OFFICIALS REPORTING EVENT SCORES BACK TO THE EVENT DIRECTOR/RULES:

*Officials who host games and fail to send me their game's results within a 24 hour period of the race will receive a 0 for their racing and freestyle points. Results must be sent to [email protected] with the subject titled as 'Round #(number of round) Results'

*Officials should also print this rule page out and have it at their side for the events they host or race at. I intend for these rules to be followed, and if they are not, then you will no longer be able to host. I appreciate anyone who is a host and follows the rules, and they may even be rewarded for good work at the end of the season by me granting a request for a track or truck to be made for them by me:-).

NTNT SUPER NATIONALS FINALS:

*This is the final event of the first season, and it is guaranteed to be the BEST!

*The top eight trucks in overall points will make the field for NTNT SUPER NATIONALS WORLD FINALS. In addition, the top three trucks in overall points in Super Nationals who have not already made the field via NTNT will qualify for NTNT World Finals 2 and get to run with the big boys of NTNT.

*Overall, Racing, Wheelie Contest, and Freestyle Champions will be crowned after the NTNT Super Nationals World Finals. Trucks are Champions by their total points in the season, NOT who wins at the World Finals. One race should not make a person's season worth a champion title.

*If points are tied for the championship after NTNT SUPER NATIONALS WORLD FINALS, the people that tied will have one race and/or freestyle for the tiebreaker at a time to be determined. If points are somehow still tied, event wins will be used to break the tie, and if there is STILL a tie, then all that tied will be crowned champions.

THE OBJECT OF THE GAME...

The main reason you are all here to have fun. If you're not having fun then you shouldn't be here. It's not life and death, so just remember this is all in good spirits and for friends to compete against friends. Surveys are sent out every couple of races or so, so voice your opinions and thoughts on the league! I want to know if you liked it, because I want everyone to enjoy it; that's why I'm doing this league.
