Dee Laytner and Randy (Ryo) McLean on Vacation in England.  This is when the ever horny Dee is hoping for a bit of Quality Time with sweet Ryo.  He's got everything planned to do a little wooing and smooching he even managed to get rid of Bikky for a while, however what Dee didn't plan on was for a Japanese citizen to be murdered or for another man to encroach on his territory.  Things go from bad to worse as Dee can't get Ryo to leave the case alone and Bikky and Carol show up to make matters worse.  It just gets really fun after that.  There is a bit of smooching and playing around between the principle characters, but with plenty of interruptions to keep you wanting more.  Boo!

If you love the Manga you will like the Anime, otherwise it is average though it does have its moments of greatness

Hmmm....Seemed okay to me, nice opening and closing with music timed to fit the scenes  (ummm...I didn't watch it for the music...you can tell huh?)

The characters are well fleshed out and recognizable.  I had no trouble recognizing Ryo as Ryo and Dee as Dee.  Some things were updated for the period too; Bikky and Carol had on Roller Blades rather than Roller Skates (as was in the Manga).

I really like this Movie (OVA) which is based on ACT 5, Vol. 2 of the Manga, though it is only about 45 minutes long it does leave me wishing that Fake was an animated serious.  I believe that overall the Manga would make a very good anime series... especially if the producers remained true to its format.  After all Fake is Shonen Ai.
