Yours truly implemented a repair of solar facilities
at a remote island in the Philippines...
One such facility is the solar powered water pump-&-tank system
in the background. It provides fresh water to the whole barangay..
Ok ba mga tools namin? High tech!!! hehe..
A closer view of the solar powered water pump-&-tank system:
How can we install a mini ice plant at the base without
adding more solar panels? Aber?
These are the batteries at the base where all energy captured
by the solar cells are stored for consumption by the water pump
(even at night when the sunlight is already out!)
Later in the day shortly before dusk, the solar streetlight was repaired..
By dusk, the solar streetlight was working...
High tech ladder namin!! O!,diba?
This is the kind of controller & battery installed at the streetlight..
Have you ever seen a solar powered LIGHTHOUSE?
This remote island has one...
