N'Sync Story Land's Review of Challenge For The Children
This was the first time I've gone to Challenge For The Children. I only got tickets for Saturday because that's when I thought the game was. Boy was I wrong. My friend, Iciana & my mom are here with me. For all three of us, this is our first CFTC event. At the moment, I'm standing outside, waiting for them to open the stupid doors. Iciana says, "It's hot. Damn hot. That stupid car over there keeps playing the same damn song over & over again." They're referring to Triple Image's Song "Last One Standing". And I agree it's annoying. They (Iciana) says it's also they're first time for a CFTC event. I'm writing this in a notebook while I wait. I encountered two girls. Both 18. They appeared to both be very nice. An anonymous girl who I'm interviewing says she'd been to two CFTC events. "It was fun. It was nice seeing their personalities because you don't really get to see them while they're dancing," she says, commenting on their previous CFTC event. "Justin whines every five seconds." The anonymous girls keep mocking the teeny-boppers. One official photographer said, "I'm really hot." The heat seems to be everyone's topic. So far, Justin's been in the past five SUVs. Justina Woodpond was quoted as saying about the guys, "gee, I hope Lance is here & not in Russia." "I think it's sad," one fan was quoted as saying about Justin & Britney's breakup. She was also quoted as saying that, "Challnge For The Children is the best event. This is the fourth year & I've been to every one." After my interview with her & Justin atcually drove in, I interveiwed one fan as saying, "If heaven was on Earth," small pause, "that's it." She seemed very excited to see him. Although not many people are willing to be interviewed, I'm doing the best I can. Who knew people were so afraid to be quoted... When I finally got into the TD Waterhouse, they were playing 112's "Peaches & Cream". When I asked one usher what it was like to work at an event like this, he said, "it's fun." It's his third even since he just started. When I interveiwed an another anonymous fan, they said, "I really like basketball & it's really cool what they're doing." Another fan said, "It looks like there's a lot of girls." And when I asked her what she thought of N'Sync, she said, "I really like them. They're very multi-talented. Finally, onto the games. When the guys came out, screaming hell broke loose. Chris came out & was proudly showing off his mohawk. No comment... After a few minutes of goofing off, the game is finally starting. The lights go off & Lance comes on the overhead screen. He was stuck in Russia *pout*. The Daze team was composed of Justin Timberlake, Johnny Magic (XL 106.7), Donte Clark, Shannon Elizabeth, Anjie Martinez, JC Chasez, & many others that I couldn't hear due to screams. The Knights team was composed of Jason Thomas, Trevor from O-Town, Sean from Boyz II Men, Kid Cruz (XL 106.7), Brian McKnight, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, & all others not heard due to screams. Stupid teenyboppers. The Shaq Shoe Race was the first game. They had to dress in Shaq's clothes, run down the court, make a layup, drink a coke, then burp into the mic. The Knights won the game. Next game was Human Bowling. The contestants were put into a ball cage & rolled into large blow-up pins. The Daze won this game. Chris was supposed to play, but then he saw what he had to do & made his nephew do it. JC was quoted as saying, "This is the stupidest thing I've ever done. But it's for charity, so I'll do it." Then Justin started a chant of "Knights Suck". One obnoxious BITCH called me rude for cheering on the Daze. Sorry for not liking the Knights. I support Leos hehehe. The Knights won the Savenger Hunt. Then Triple Image came out & did their song, "Last One Standing". YES THE SAME DAMN SONG FROM EARLIER! SHOOT ME!!! A fan was quoted as saying about their performance, "I hope for their sake, their recorded song doesn't go out." The next game, the 3-point Challenge went to the Knights as their victory. Second round, the Daze won. Inbetween rounds one & two, Chris & Joey (Knights) poured sodas on the refs, whom they chased into the crowd, causing an uproar of screams. Half Court Hassle, the next game, went to the Knights for their victory list. Next, 3rd Faze performed. I thought I was at a CFTC event, not the Moulin Rouge... They even sounded as bad as Nicole Kidman when she did her songs for the movie Moulin Rouge. Next game called You Got Aim, gave the audience T-shirts. The next game was the Obstacle Course. At the end of it, they couldn't decide on who won so Joey(Knights) & JC (Daze) went against each other. In the end, Joey won. That's it for my review. Sorry if it sucked. But if you liked it, cool.
