!Chapter Eight!
"Ang! If you would just sit still this wouldn't be as painful as you are making it out to be." Cait warned as she pinned the sides of Angela's dress.
"Okay, okay....." agreed Angela. The two girls were at one of Orlando's many bridal shops, as Angela was trying on her bridesmaid dress.
"What do you think Ang? Do you like it? Be honest now.." Caitlin asked as she looked at Anglea's reflection in the mirror. The long, red, sphagetti strap dress was nice and simple. It smeed to fit Angela perfectly.
"Hm, well I like it. It's nice and simple Cait." Ang repiled. She knew that Cait was nervous enough about the whole wedding and didn't want to upset her by saying anything mean.
Cait hugged Anglea.
"You have no idea how nervous I am. I mean yah okay I've known Lance forever but, this is it you know? Like...I'm with him for the long haul you know? No turning back I guess." Cait stated with a little flutter in her voice.
"Aww Cait, you have nothing to worry about okay? Lance loves you. Don't worry, everything is going to turn out just fine." Angela assured her friend.
"I hope so. You know Ang, its been awhile since you and Chris have actually talked. He is going to be standing up in the wedding to ya know." Cait informed her friend as Anglea re-dressed in her clothes. Her expression quickly turned from glad to glum.
"Chris is going to be there? Cate! How am I suppose to face him? I mean after all of this? Do you know how weird this could end up being?" Angela stated, shaking her head.
"Ang as much as you don't want to admit it I know you still have some sort of feelings left for Chris. I mean you guys were getting really close." Cate repiled. She knew she was right. Ang hardly ever let herslef get so close to any men. She liked being all tough and independent. It made her feel as if she didn't need anybody else. But, Cait knew Angela and she deep down she wanted to settle down too.
"We were getting close Cait, but he's the one who blew it. He screwed up." Angela answered.
"Well has he tried calling you at all since the whole thing? I mean to apologize or something?" Cait asked curiously.
"Yah a couple of times. I mean, I want to call hiim back and everything but I don't know what if he's just calling me to tell me that he made a mistake with me?" Ang questioned looked at Cait as she bit her lip.
"Look Ang, you got to go back to your house and call Chris and get this whole mess all figured out okay? Trust me, the only mistake Chris made was hurting you." Cait repiled. Angela smiled and hugged her friend.
"Thanks Cait, I'll get going then. I'll call you and let you know how things go okay?" Ang stated as she made her way to her car.
"You better!!" Cait yelled back as Ang started her car and drove off. Cait was right, she needed to figure this out.
She walked into her house and patted her dog lightly. She listened the messages on her answering machine as she got to one from Chris..**beep**
"Hey Ang, look we got to talk, please give me a call, I really need to talk to you...."
**beep** She picked up the phone and dialed the once familiar digits. It rang a couple of tiems before a voice picked it up.
"Hey Chris...it's Ang..."
