!Chapter Two!
"Hey Chris, it's Cait." Caitlin replied as she smiled, ideas sparking in her mind.
"Oh, hey C-dawg. What's going on?" Chris responded, relaxing as he recognized the voice.
"Well not much, I do need to ask a favor of you though." Cait stated, hoping he would oblige.
"Oh no, what's it this time?" Chris laughed, thinking of the crazy situations she could get him into.
"Well Lance and I are going to catch a movie tonight, and my friend Angela was going to come with us..." Cait started to explain.
"Angela, yah I think I remember her..." Chris replied trying to register in his memory.
"The thing is though, she's single and I know how she is, and I do know you fairly well. I think you two could really hit it off." Caitlin explained, hoping Chris wouldn't mind doing her this favor.
"So you want me to be her date for the night?" Chris asked.
"Yah exactly, and if things develope from there, you know who to thank." Cait responded with a smile.
Chris laughed, "Okay, what time does the movie start at?"
"We were thinking about catching the 9:15 show, but you need to be there at 9:00." Caitlin explained.
"Alright, catch you later then." Chris agreed.
"Oh wait, Chris?"
"Yah?"
"Act like we sort of bumped into you there okay? Ang would kill me if she found out I set her up again." Instructed Cait.
"Okay then, see you tonight." Chris stated as he hung up.
Cait hung up her phone and smiled to herself. She loved playing matchmaker. She only hoped Angela would fall for her little plan. Lance walked into the house, sweat rolled off his forehead as he walked into the living room and spotted Caitlin.
"Oh, hey you...have a nice nap?" Lance smiled as he tucked a few loose strands of hair behind Caitlin's ear.
Cait smiled, "I should be asking you the same thing. Me, you, Chris and Ang are going to a movie tonight okay?" Caitlin explained.
"Oh okay, Chris and Ang are dating?" Lance asked.
"Well not yet..." Cait replied smiling.
"Oh you are bad. You are hooking them up aren't you?" Lance asked, already knowing the answer to his question.
"Yah, hey Chris agreed to it. I'm not exactly hooking them up either. We are going to "accidentally" bump into Chris at the movies." Cait explained hoping her plan was fool proof.
"You know Ang isn't going to believe that Chris just accidentally ran into us." Lance stated crossing his arms.
"Well she might. She'll kill me is she found out I set her up." replied Caitlin.
"That's true. I am going to go take a shower and." Cait stopped and pretended to smell Lance, "I suggest you do too if you want anyone sitting by you at the movie tonight." Cait teased as Lance laughed and followed her upstairs.
**At the movies**
Cait and Lance waited outside for Chris and Angela. Cait only hoped Chris would get there first so she could run over the plan with him. Lance spotted Chris's car as he got out and walked over to the couple.
"Hey Chris. We have to make this quick because I don't know when Ang will be here but here's the deal. You go in and sit down and when we walk in act surprised to see us and invite us to sit with you okay?" Cait explained.
"Okay, that sounds good, I'll meet you guys inside then."
"Okay." Cait nodded her head in agreement. No sooner did Chris leave did Angela arrive.
"Oooh, that was close." Lance teased as Cait giggled.
"Hey guys." Angela greeted them.
"Hey Ang." Lance replied.
"Hey, you ready?" Cait asked as they started to walk in.
"Yah, just a sec." Ang pulled on Caitlin's arm and pulled her aside as Lance bought three tickets.
"You promise me that there is no one else coming to join me, you and Lance?" Ang asked.
"Scouts honor." Cait replied holding up three fingers as the Girl Scout sign of trust. Besides it was the truth, no one else was coming. Chris was already there.
"Okay. Ang relaxed. She couldn't count the times Cait had endlessly tried to hook her up with someone. She knew that she was just trying to help her, but Ang wanted to find a guy for herself, or at least have a guy find her.
The three of them waked into the theater as Cait spotted Chris right away. She winked at him to let him know everything was good. The three walked up the theater steps to find a spot to sit as Chris waved them over.
"Hey guys!" Chris exclaimed with fake enthusiasm in his voice.
"Oh hey Cait, Chris is here." Lance stated as he started walking over to him. Cait started to follow him as Angela pulled her back again.
"Wait a minute, you just promised me that there weren't going to be any hook-ups tonight." Angela stated a little frustrated with Cait that she lied to her.
"Well, I told some of the truth, you asked if anyone else was coming. Chris was already here." Cait replied hoping that excuse like that would be enough.
"Cait, why do you keep doing this?" Ang asked.
"Because Ang I don't like seeing you alone. I am just trying to help. Cait explained. She really did hate seeing Ang alone. She wanted her to be happy.
"Okay, okay. Ang replied.
Cait smiled. "Just give him a chance Ang, he's really cool. Your personalities are almost identical." stated Cait as they started walking over to the guys.
"Okay." Ang agreed, a little reluctantly. She couldn't believe Cait did this again. She went and sat down between Cait and Chris.
"This is going to be a long night." Ang thought to herself sinking in her seat.
